Question about Goodman Heating & Cooling
I have done this 34 years and never need to know this . simply replace the $15 part to see if it works, labors not cheap and its better value to the customer for you to sawp it out on a call even if its not bad yet as they are 1 of the weak links that you know will fail . if it doesnt work, which i never saw except when the orifice on the induced draft housing was carboned up! or 1 time the induced draft squirrel cage was disintegrated with the motors shaft left spinning nothing and doing nothing as toinducing any draft! threw mw as the motor was working! and orifice clear and new switch but still not working!!! had to be the cage or poltergeist lol!

You have a flame sensor that may just need cleaning take out and take fine sand paper or emery cloth and clean

Based on your description I would guess that there is a "leak" somewhere between the gas valve and the actual fire. Use soap bubbles to check the connections at the gas valve. Also check the gaskets in the Gas valve the same way. Lastly there may be a cracked or misaligned burner causing the "leak". Best of Luck!
