Question about HEWLETT-PACKARD HP ProBook 6455b Notebook
I have tried to start up my laptop. It will start as in all the mechanical parts inside will run and you can feel the heat from the fan, but the screen will not light up or show any form of operating. I have tried hard reboot and attempted to reboot by means of clicking the windows button and trying to select the power off selection. Keep in mind that the screen is black at all times, so I dont know if I have even selected the correct option or even if its working at all. Please help me fix it cause I need my laptop for school.

SOURCE: Whenever I start my HP
That message means that your hard drive is bad and is not seen by your computer. If it is under warranty, HP will fix it. If not, you can find a hard drive for it for $70 +, depending on what capacity you purchase. If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it and give a testimonial for my response Thanks, Joe
Although the hard drive is bad, a good tech can retreive your data, ie: documents, pictures and music from it.

I had trouble looking up that model on the HP page, but you should check this page and see if this model is affected by this NVidia litigation. If it is, you can get it fixed/replaced on NVidia's dime.

Either your charger is not providing the perfect voltage or there is a short circuit in your motherboard. Try replacing the charger first. If still the problem persists then you should check the connector. try resoldering it cause loose connection in it also sometimes causes this problem.or you need to change the motherboard finally.
