Starbucks Barista Problem

I've been having this problem for a while. Most of the time, the espresso maker works fine. Some of the time it just refuses to pull the shot of espresso. I mean, I've checked the machine head and it's spouting out water, but the moment I lock in the filter arm it just quits. Nada. Zip. Any suggestions?

Sounds like the keypads need to be replaced. As for the left head the jet in the flowmeter is blocked.

I've looked up and read many of the pump problem responses and none of them seem to match my issue. Yesterday my Rancilio Silvia worked just fine. I first want to say that I clean my grouphead often...

Typically when this issue has occurred it is the pump. The pump may still run but there is no suction. This is normal once it fails. There really isn't much else in the machine for this to happen. It's rather simple inside.

Need lid for starbucks barista aroma grande 12 cup carafe.

The exact same lid is on the Wolfgang Puck WPTPCM010 coffee maker. (It's exactly like the Starbucks one - same size & fit.) Call (800) 275-8273 and order part # WPTPCM010-6; the product description is "LID FOR CARAFE". It will cost you $4.99 + 5.00 shipping. My Starbucks coffee pot works PERFECTLY again. Just make sure that you put the lid on the carafe correctly before you use it, since the seal is new.

How do I increase grouphead pressure on la marzocco linea 2 group?

To increase dispense pressure you turn the adjustment screw at the pump. When pulling a shot (use espresso) on one group the bottom needle of the gauge should read 9bars while pulling the shot.
