if you can go into safe mode with networking, get latest driver and make sure you download correct 32 or 64 bit version. 32 on 64 bit only partially works. if you can open up driver select the 64 bit version from update driver.

I computer crashes when I try to open Google Earth

It's your graphics chip and memory I'm worried about and whether you have shared graphics memory coming out of that 1.49GB, since you "meet" the Display Requirements and really should exceed them for some functions of Google Earth.
Upgrade your graphics board, cause you may just be squeaking by with only 32MB, as 64, 128, 256, and 512MB have been de rigeur for years now.

The graphic card may not be able to handle the videos being played. The graphic card may need to be replaced. If it is not the graphic card the memory in the computer may need to be upgraded to keep up with the usage of the computer.

    Upgrade graphic card

Hi, on the game packing there should be a requirement list. Open your computer case, remove the graphics card, take it to a dealer and ask for a higher rated card of the same configuration, [AGP or PCIE] This is a simple job to change the card but be careful of static electricity, earth yourself to the case if you can.
