Question about Acer Aspire M5641 PC Desktop
The unit was working yesterday. It shut down on its own after I walked away for a long time. Now I can't get it to boot back up. It has a blinking blue light where the power button is but will not change no matter what I do. I hit the keys on the keyboard to wake it up and have unplugged it and plugged it into different outlets to see if this would change anything, but it does not. Please help! Frustrated.

go into the bios and make sure the USB controller are enabled, save settings and reboot if still same drivers are missing from the operating system, if you haven't got a password boot to windows and plug the keyboard in a different port to re-install the drivers. if you can't, does the computer support ordinary keyboards?

Tips for a great answer:
sounds like a power supply problem
Test your PSU power supply unit or replace it if your power supply units fan is not working your PSU is faulty
One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle of restarting or to shutdown or fail to detect/ boot up a computer hard drive
Test all leads that attach to your hard drive power and data cables IDE SATA
the leads from your MOTHERBOARD TO YOUR HARD DRIVE make sure they have a secure dust free connections and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty
hope this helps
