Why does it not have a touchpad? Maybe the touchpad driver is not
installed or the touchpad has been disabled or is toggled off.

This is coud be a result of the metal stick underneath the analog being loose and there is no real solution to this. You can try to take it apart and trying to secure the metal rod that comes out where the analog is by hitting it down more but this usually happens after wear and some good beatings but is not a major problem.
I couldn't find a downloadable copy but got a hand written one:

If you spin around that means the right stick is being pressed in a direction without you even touching it because of loss of calibration. There are some calibration utilities online but for the start you can let Windows calibrate your gamepad.
Open control panel -> classic view (on the left) -> Game Controllers -> Select your controller -> Properties -> Settings tab -> Select Calibration and follow the instructions. If during calibration you see that the right and/or left stick is being pressed in a direction, it is a hardware issue. In such cases replacing the controller is a better option. If it is still under warranty you can get it replaced. If you bought it from Game stop they do normally accept returns within a month or so.
There is one thing you can that sometimes works: Press the right stick towards right and turn it fast in a circle all the way through clockwise. Repeat it 3-4 times and then do it anti clockwise. It works for me each time my controller acts like that, I dont know how but it doesnt matter. Hope it works.

It's a rhythm game kinda like Guitar Hero or Rock Band but not as intuitive or entertaining. My kids have the game because they love the Chipmunks but they haven't touched it in months.
You play by holding the Wii Remote and Nunchuck like drum sticks. You have the wave either your Right or Left hand in time with the circles on the screen. On medium or hard you need to hold a button down on the nunchuck or Wii remote when the circle go upwards. Once you get the hang of it it's really quite simple.
