Question about Kohler Plumbing
There is water leak from the faucet handle on the hot side. I can open the handle and able to see the valve. I can get to using a deep set 5/8" socket wrench. But the valve seems stuck and can't open it. Appreciate any help regarding this.

you will have to replace the ball assembly with a repair kit
1 turn the water off under the sink (hot and cold)
remove the handle ( you may need an allen head wrench to remove a hex screw or you may have to take a channel lock pliar and unscrew achrome
nut over the ball mechanism
after the handle comes off there is usually some type of lock nut that you must remove to remove the ball mechanism
remove the ball (usually chrome or brass(ther are usually little springs and rubber washers under ball
take ball and washer to ACe or lowes and match the pieces (usually sold as a kit
follow directions and installl
turn water on and pat yo!ur self on the back !

The little wrench tightens the tension ring that fits on the inside of the retaining nut right under the handle. You fit the little "arms" in the notches.

Pry the hot/cold button off the top of the handle. Make sure the water is turned off below the sink.
Under the button should be screws. Remove the screws. Pry the handle off. Remove the stems by lifting then out.
That should give you access to the washers you need to change.

it has a screw down cap on top of the valve.counterclock wise.then pull straight up on valve. if you twist the supply line while doing this disconnect the line first then work on valve.
