I have a Bosch Nexxt 500 Plus Elect dryer and I continue to get an error message of "ER001" and the lint filter light comes on and the dryer shuts down. I've cleaned the filter, cleaned the sensors, even removed the vent to ensure nothing was obstructing the free flow of air. I've run out of solutions, any suggestions?
Absolutely those dryer sheets are the root of all evil....I would also recommend a good vent brush to clean your dryer vent.
Follow these steps, it worked for me:
1. use a shop vacuum to clean out the dry vent or a vent brush.
2. Clean your lint filter with windex, hot water and and soft bristle brush.
If this doesnt work try running the until disconnected from the vent for a cycle to isolate the vent as your issue.
Cheers!
Hey, I have a great idea ! Don't use anymore fabric sheets in the dryer.. Liquid Downey is what we use and the E01 error has finally got out of my every dry cycle.. Honestly I think it is something in the sheets that clog up those 12 thousand holes on the lint filter...
I have the same problem. did anybody answered your question?. please let me know how to fix min . e mail

This dryer was just installed today and I've got the same problem. We cleaned out the rigid duct & shortened the flexible duct. I used a dryer sheet in the 1st two loads and none in the last load. So far no beeping or error. Not sure if it's a fix or not as of yet. I will be changing to liquid softner however.
i keep getting the E01 error with no use of softener sheets. Gas Nexxt 500 Any suggestions?
We live in a 1 & 1/2 year old home. Worked well for about a year, now it gives me the error every time I try to dry a load...dries for several minutes only and then beeps with the error again. We've cleaned the filter well over and over. HELP?
The KY Carpers
Bosch Nexxt 800 dryer was installed Monday and ran for ten minutes before the Lint Warning light came on and Error 001 message stopped the machine.
Its brand new - and was put in the same spot as the old dryer which ran without problems.
Any chance someone got this E01 error resolved?
