Goto your phone's network/internet settings and try the following:
  1. In the APN field, enter either epc.tmobile.com (or internet2.voicestream.com if that doesn't work) -- this tells T-Mobile which version of our Internet network you want to connect to.
  2. Leave the Username and Password fields blank -- T-Mobile will assign this information based on your SIM card information.
  3. Return to the Main Menu and open your browser to browse the Internet.

If you unlock an at&t LG Xenon GR500 can you use it with a tmobile sim card ?

You can, but you may have issues texting, using mms, and internet. T-Mo would have to change the settings on the phone to work with their network for that; they may not do that since it's an ATT phone. Phone calls would work fine though without any changes.

My iphone says gprs not subscribed. is it because i have tmobile?

Actually, it's a dual sim phone so inserting the card is all that is needed. The internet is not working because you have to have the Data plan internet for smartphones. Regular internet you have on any other phone doesnt work. The data plan is a 24.99 with t-mobile as I had to get it to. After switching internets you have to call T-mobile and get the GPRS settings for internet or do a search like i did and find them yourself. Go under service and data accounts. Make a new account and enter the settings and bam you have internet.

How to unluck

thats the whole glory about this phone is that it is unlocked. unlocked only means it can be used for any provider, any provider that has a sim card. It will only go to the provider that you are paying for, you have to insert your paid service from your sim card into this phone. It only works with services that have a SIM card. Version for example does not. This phone works with AT&T>TMOBILE etc. phones that have SIM cards. Once you place you SIM card into the phone you have to set it up for you SMS (TEXT) MMS (Picture TEXT) and if you pay for internet thw WAP settings. I pay for TMOBILE with an internet plan and that is all i am able to acess. You cannot acess any other mobile servers unless you have a paid for SIM card inserted. This phone allows two so if you pay for two providers (i do not) you could have two phone numbers with the same providers or two different. this si good for people who run business and want to keep their number and bsuiness seperate without two phones. Chill out dad!!! unlocked only means you cna use it for most cellular providers instead of having to pay for that companies phones. Example TMOBILE wants you to buy their phones. ATT&T wants you to buy their phones. But if you purchase these phones and need help setting it up you can call for example TMOBILE and they know how to set it up. Yous just have to hit the unsupported phones option. On an I9 forum site I use a guy actually said that the TMOBILE rep he was talking to had the same phone. I have a SCIPHONE I68 flashed with the I9 firmware. You can get these on ebay for 119 with and 8 gig SD card. Look for a guy named DEALZCENTRAL site (no its not me) and I recommend him. I orderd my phone on a THURS and got it on MON. Everyone else I saw was from Hong Kong and wasnt sure if i trusted that. This guy is here in the States.

Sx66 to tmobile

As I understand it, the SIM card is what tells your wireless unit which service provider to use. If you have an old phone, it should be an easy matter to take the t-mobile SIM card out of it and install it in the SX-66. One note on the SX-66: the SIM card on mine had a tendency to lose contact (and my contacts would disappear) from jarring until I put a piece of scotch tape across the bottom of it. No problems after that.

IPhone EDGE issue

Access to edge or other data services depend on the isp, not the cell phone manufacturer. For example, if you unlocked your phone and put a tmobile sim in it, you would have to get data settings from tmobile to be able to get the internet. You need to talk to the tech support people. And of course you can use the wifi on the apple phone for internet access.
