    I need to calidrate my HP PSC 1210 All-In-One InkJet Printer.

    Can you please tell me how to do this.

    When I re-newed the cartridges and printed the new sheet for calibration, only the instructions printed, not the black and yellow squares.

    in Windows Vista, there is no option to calibrate the printer. Because the printer uses basic-drivers by the operating system and HP didn't make the old drivers from XP compatible with Vista

    the options mentioned are not available on windows vista

Hi *s*

(bottom left corner windows START)
got to;
start/settings/printers/ and click

right click your printer and select printing preferences
click on the tab that says SERVICES
then click on the services icon button (picture)

you will see three choices;
align,
clean
print a test page.

Aligning is what you want.(calibration is just a different word)

You can also remove the ink cartridges as you usually do and then put them back in, this triggers and automatic printed page and then walks you through scanning and the alignment.*s*

if by chance you still have blurry printing and know your machine should be ok, try cleaning.( same procedure, different last choice- you clean the heads)

You can also check to see if the proper paper is selected. For instance, if you are trying to print heavy greeting card paper it must be set to that or it will not print properly. *s*

If you have thrown up your hands and tried all this, and nothing works. Go through your printer preferences and select SET DEFAULT SETTINGS buttons.
It will knock everything back to the way it left the factory *S*

Thank you and good luck. Please remember to give my answer a rating *S*

HP PSC 1210 Not Printing

Hi My first quesiton to you would be: What version of windows are you using. If you are using Windows Vista you will need to go to the HP Site and download the new updated drivers for the new OS. Second Question : Are you using genuine HP printer catriges? If so make sure the contact point where the catrigr and the printer meet are clean and free of dust. Try re seating the cartriges and re calibrating th printer. I checked with HP online tech support and they backed me on this. If you have any more trouble feel free to email me : hartmansp@inbox.com Have a great day.
