Most probably there's still a bug, insect or just a small piece of anything caught between the roller or wheel after you cleared a paper jam otherwise a spring, hook tension-er across the roller is not in-place.

SOURCE: How to Clear carriage jam

Dear it's the carriage jam error. so it mean that your carriage is jam not paper. so open the printer where you insert the cartridge. check whether it is jam or what . cartridge carrier is jam kindly turn off the printer and try to move the cartridge head by hand very gently and if seems to be stuck than check for anything which abort him to move freely so than might be anything like dust or else. when you get success in moving the head put some machine lubricant on the rod on which head moves and check it ok.

SOURCE: hp psc 1210 It says no scanner found ?

as the copier works its not a hardware concern.if the scanneris not found it means the drivers are not installed properly.Try uninstalling the drivers completely from the device manager as well as the printer and faxes and the scanners and cameras(if possible delete the ebtries in the registry as well that are related to the software and the VID and PID keys from there). Then try a plug and play.....see if it works....

SOURCE: Are there any releases for a paper jam in an HP

1) Power Off.
2) Disconnect USB cable and power cord
3) Clear the paper jam from the back of the unit by opening the rear access door. Turn the dial on the rear access door counter clockwise, and then pull the door toward you to remove it
4) Gently remove any paper from the rollers. Get all the pieces - any bits left inside will make it more likely to jam with future use
5) Reattach the rear access door. Gently push the door forward until it snaps into place
6) Reconnect the cables and power cord.

Try your print job again.

HP psc 1210 will not print

Hi,

Please check the printer status at control panel printer properties if it is offline or ready. Restart your computer if necessary, you will notice all pending jobs will be printed as long as there is no problem with the connections of cables and drivers. Note: Do not cancel printing jobs in the middle of sending data mode to printer or queing instead you have to remove all papers on tray and wait for the error "paper out or empty" then there click Cancel. Hopes this helps.

HP PSC 1210 Not Printing

Hi My first quesiton to you would be: What version of windows are you using. If you are using Windows Vista you will need to go to the HP Site and download the new updated drivers for the new OS. Second Question : Are you using genuine HP printer catriges? If so make sure the contact point where the catrigr and the printer meet are clean and free of dust. Try re seating the cartriges and re calibrating th printer. I checked with HP online tech support and they backed me on this. If you have any more trouble feel free to email me : hartmansp@inbox.com Have a great day.
