It all depends on the motherboard. ACPI and x86 have nothing to do with memory format. What is the make and model of your motherboard? When you have that look at the manufacturers website. The memory type you need will be there.

This sounds like one of those store bought computers - Dell, HP, Asus, Acer, etc - is there a brand and model number available if so - these sites will have all the drivers for the particular model.

You dont need any driver since your PC is configured as x64 bit processor so all you got to do is get hold of the XP OS which is meant for x64 compatible PC's. The one normally used is 32 bit named as x86. I hope u wont face any difficulty in getting hold of x64 based OS(XP)......sodeep
