If it is still under warranty, Target should be able to repair or replace it.  Their customer service number should be able to help you out.

check your condenser fan motor at rear of unit make sure it is turning if not test for power going to it/if you have power fan motor is bad.. OR check condenser at rear of unit to see how dirty it may be clean it .///the reason the center piece is getting hot is b/c the condenser at the rear of unit is not getting rid of the heat so ether the fans not working or condenser is plugged . They have a small line running in the front part to keep gasket warm.///So remove rear cover at bottom and take a look don't leave it to long as your compressor will be running hot....If I helped you please vote if you need more help please ask.... good luck

Possibly

1. a lodged piece of foreign material

2. A broken piece within the camera is interfering

3. A piece in the camera that helps control the lens or another piece by the lens is out of place

Please check this out if you are comfortable doing so and let me know what comes of it

Camera model SL620. Lens cover does not automatically fully retract. A small portion blocks the top and bottom of the lens but will retract if touched. Tried blowing dry air on the cover and wiping with a...

Apparently the lens has had some kind of impact to cause the lens cover to be bent a little. What happens is that the lens cover holder , or ring, on the end becomes bent or misshaped to a degree. This then causes a binding effect on the diaphragm assembly.
What I have done is to very carefully (while using good magnification) pry up on the edges of the lens cover metal edging on the inside edges. This will release the pressure on the lens cover diaphragms.
But, be advised that this is can harm the lens cover more, unless you are extremely cautious. That means to use a small screwdriver or some such tool to pry up on the inside edges carefully.
Also be advised that too much pressure can cause the whole ring which holds the diaphragm assembly together can pop up and off. Then the whole assembly can come apart, and that is very hard and can be tedious to put back together.

When i turn it on it says turn off and on again

I have just had exactly the same thing on my daughter's NV3. In this case the lens cover would not open but if you power on the camera with you finger on the display button you can view stored images. If the lens cover is jammed you need to open the casing and maybe take the lens cover assembly apart. You need a very small cross head screwdriver (No.00 should be OK). There are 5 screws in total, 4 screws on the outside of the case (3 plus1 under the headphone socket cap) and 1 inside the battery compartment. You need to remove all 5 to remove the camera front casing. There are some retaining springs top and bottom on the front cover, gently prize off to reveal the lens cover assembly. Check to see if the lens cover will operate by switching on and off - if it works then the camera front casing is preventing it from opening and is probably bent out of shape. A little careful bending back into shape should resolve the problem. If it still does not work with the casing removed, read on. This is the tricky part. There are two extremely small, black retaining screws to the left hand side which hold the assembly onto the lens cover motor. Remove these screws and the front of the lens cover assembly to reveal the lens cover and the back plate of the assembly. Lift off the lens cover and switch on the camera. If the motor is still working, you will see a short black peg move from side to side as you turn the camera on and off. Thoroughly clean the lens cover and assembly, remove any obstruction and replace the lens cover making sure you locate the hole in the lens cover over the motor peg (described above).
The motor is magnetic and will attract the screws away from their holes if you replace the assembly front straight away, so when you replace the front of the lens cover assembly, place the screws in the correct holes before lowering it into place and then screw onto the motor/assembly back. Test that the lens cover opens and closes and replace the Camera front cover taking care not to bend it too much - if this becomes distorted it can stop the lens cover from operating resulting in the same problem.

The solution, by jimr929, to not touch the lens cover at all, works perfectly for me too, as mine is also a 2002 model.

Canon S80 lens won't retract

I have the same camera and had this problems today. My son solved the problem for me. He put his thumbs on each side of the lens and pressed inwards causing the lens to pop out. Since then, I have been able to close and open the lens repeatedly without any problem. Hope this works for you. Good Luck!
