Question about Vacuums
Vax integra carpet shampooer

We took the entire back off (there are loads of deep-seated screws so this takes a long screwdriver and patience!.) You will see that the valve to release the solution is operated by a cable which runs from the trigger down to a plastic cam, which then operates another cable to release the liquid. We found depressing the trigger was hardly moving the cable at all, so the valve was barely opening.. We took the cam off (it's a boomerang-shaped piece of plastic held on with one screw) and put two small squares of gaffa tape on top of each other onto the top surface of the cam, to imprive the efficiency of the trigger motion. It seems to have worked.

I do not know if mine is the santria brand but are you turning the knob on top of the solution carrier to off before trying to suck the water? Renee

if you unscrew a bit on the base that allows you to take off the brush, you will see a black plastic strip with very small holes in it. These are where your shampoo comes out of. Take a needle and re-pierce these holes and it should work again. I have just sorted mine out. good luck .
