My verizon p5750 internet pc card not connecting to WAN on my DIR-450 wireless router
I have all working on the DIR-450 regarding Lan yet my PC 5750 card just flashes connecting when I check the status and it never connects..the ip address, subnet mask and default gateway all have 0.0.0.0 and it just flashes and says verizon pc5750: connecting. Please do not have me reset the dlink router done that and all is working on router side. the pc card I cannot even check since it does not fit in my pc or laptop. help?

Download the new firmware for your router. Should be able to locate it on the D-link site. Log into the router and let it update. Instructions on how to do this are in the manual or online. This should solve any connection problems with your router.

Hi there is two way to connect best is to connect via cable ,DIR 615 login to router setting by typing 192.168.0.1 enter user name and password uaser name will be admin and password could be admin or blank or you need to enter text " read the manual to access the router via internet explorer" make sure WAN connection is DHCP connect LAN cable from your main router to the WAN port of your Dlink it should be ready in 1 miutes also if it support WDS you do not cable it can find the main router signal and connect to it and boost it , should you need any help please post me your question to http://computernetworksupportindubai.com/
You won't get internet connection that way because there is no connection between the first parkervision and the 2nd one. Best way is use only one parkervision router. Connect WAN port to modem for internet, 1st lan port connect to your pc and 2nd lan port connect to 2nd pc in other room.
2nd way is, use only one parkervision. Connect WAN port to modem for internet, 1st lan port connect to your pc, setup wireless SSID and connect your 2nd pc to this router for internet wirelessly. Assuming your 2nd pc has wireless capability.
I assume you have a cable or a DSL modem connectec by a LAN cable to the wireless router.
Have you checked you with your ISP to see if the connection yo your modem is OK?
Have you check the LAN cable from the modem to the wireless router is good and it in plugged into the WAN/Internet port on the wireless router?
Have you installed the latest wireless card driver in the computer/laptop?
I assume you are following my instructions.
Did you connect the LAN cable from the DSL or cable modem to the WAN or Internet port on the wireless router?
To test if the modem is working properly, connect the LAN cable from the modem to the LAN network card on a computer and see if you can access the Internet.
If if doesn't connect to the Internet, contact your ISP and they can check the connection to your modem to determine if it is working properly.
Hi First, are the drivers installed so that you can see the network but you just can't connect to it? Is the card activated? To get the Pc card activated contact the service provider I assume you mean Verizon United States
1-888-466-4646 When your card is activated you should be able to connect to Verizon network, this will have to be done directly with verizon we can't do it for you.

Right click on Local Area connection icon and click on properties. 5. Select Internet protocol TCP/IP from the list of components and click on properties. 6. Select "Obtain IP address Automatic". 7. Select "Obtain DNS server Automatic". 8. Click OK and close the window.
if the issue persists then try changing the cable between the router ad the computer. You may also try connecting the computer direclty to the modem to isolate issue.

yes...you must change the D Link IP address and disable the DHCP server...use the IP add within the range of verizon dhcp server..192.168.1.1 is your verizons IP..to chANGE your di link IP connect to Dlink wired and not connected to any routers...type 192.168.1.1 to access configuration menu and you can change the setting
I am assuming that you can connect to your router's web based interface (192.168.0.1).
On a PC LAN wired to the router, open a browser;
Log-in username/admin and password/(blank);
Go to Tools > Misc and the option to select the WAN speed (bottom);
Lock the speed down on the WAN port of your router to 10Mbps (Some versions do not have this feature).

If not pls post back with your modem brand/model. You may also want to log the IP settings (IP Add, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, DNS Servers) of the PC that is directly connected to the modem when you can access the Internet when not using the router.
