SOURCE: Hi. I have a Dayton Air Compressor, operated by

I have a similar compressor from grainger. Same motor as yours with 10hp speedair compressor, however a newer model. The graninger number of my pump is 5z405. and can be seen at the link below:

http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/SPEEDAIRE-Two-Stage-5Z405

If your pump looks similar then contact grainger and ask them for info relating to your serial number. Every time I call grainger for info or parts, they ask for the grainger number of the complete unit. These pumps do not change much over the years so maybe the info above will be helpful. Good luck

SOURCE: have a magnum air compressor

Yes. There should be a label on the motor indicating how to wire it for either voltage, something like the one shown here (which is also reversible - if yours is reversible, be sure you get the correct direction if you are going to change the wiring.) http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=681437 The label is sometimes under the cover where you connect the wires. If not, you should be able to find a wiring diagram for it on-line once you determine the model number of the motor. Good luck, Al K

I have an Emerson Refrigerator Model No: CR286BSE and it out of nowhere it stopped working and know it is making a clicking noise and will not cool anything at all but the compressor gets hot.

Your compressor is shot, I would recommend not letting it run, it could over heat and develop a leak, the refrigerant is extremely toxic, and if it ignites creates Phosgene gas which is incredibly dangerous. IF, you can find a compressor for the model it may be worth it to replace it, or buy a new one. Good Luck!

Emerson mini model cr501e frig and freezer both quit working what should I check No

check to see if the compressor in the back is running. This is not easy to hear has they are really quiet. If it running and its not cooling then it is low on refrigerant, if the compressor is not running then it could be a bad compressor, or the thermostat is not working or adjusted right. Thermostat is likely located inside the frig.

I have an Emerson OF200B small refrigerator. It clicks when it comes on. IS there any way to stop this?

There are rubber bushings that your compressor are mounted on and over time the rubber may break down causing the compressor to rub directly on the pan or the bracket that is holding the compressor
