SOURCE: Shark Euro-Pro Sewing Machine

I had the same problem with my Shark Euro Pro 7133. My problem was in threading the upper thread. The manual does not quite explain so I had to figure this out the hard way.

In threading the upper thread . the thread first goes down from the spool througt a groove. When it comes up it must catch a silver lever that moves up and down before moving it down againPlease let me know whether this helps.

SOURCE: Necchi Heavy Duty Sewing machine model 3205FA,

Generally when the needle does not pick up the bobbin thread, it means the needle is either too far in or just plain the wrong length. YOu might want to try lowering the needle just a hair and see if that helps.

Just bought a used Toyota machine model 4500 but needle can't pick under thread

Be sure to use a brand new needle. Otherwise, the machine has probably been knocked out of time. Search for sewing machine timing or take it for service.

How to use a twin needle on my SR2000 toyota sewing machine

First, verify that your machine can use a twin needle. Most machines take will use a twin needle will have separate thread guides and duel thread spool pins.

To thread it, thread one thread all the way through one of the needles and then thread the second thread through to the second needle. This will help keep the threads from twisting.

How to fix a thread correctly on a Toyota sewing machine model 5500

You don't state what is the problem with the thread so we are unable to provide helpful suggestions.

As a starting point, make sure to install a brand new needle that is compatible with the thread & fabric you are sewing.

Second, always raise the presser foot while threading the upper thread.

Make sure the thread path is correct (consult the owner's manual), insure that no thread guides are skipped or the thread is not wrapped around something it shouldn't be.

Set the upper tension at the midway point between low & high numbers to test stitch. Tension is correct when both upper & bobbin threads meet in the middle of the fabric.

The needle thread breaks
1. the needle thread is not threaded properly
2. The needle thread tension is to tight
3. The needle is bent or blunt
4. The needle is incorrectly inserted
5. The needle thread & the bobbin thread are not set under the presser foot when starting to sew
6. the threads were not drawn to the rear after sewing
7. The thread is either to heavy or to fine for the needle

Bottom thread not picking up for 4500 series,,,tried new needle.new bobin, new thread,,pliz help

The most common reason the bottom thread won't pick up is because the needle is inserted wrong. Check that the needle is inserted with the flat side of the needle shank is facing away from you.

Manuel

all machines thread the same. TTN tension, take up, needle.
Beginning with the spool, guide the thread through the thread guides to the tension assembly. Pull the thread through the tension assembly and test it to make sure the tension is working correctly.
(To do this test, adjust your tension setting to normal or medium or 5 or something in the middle. Raise the presser foot and pull the thread through the tension. It should pull easily!! Lower the presser foot and pull the thread. It should pull noticeably harder.) If it passes this test, continue up through the take up lever, then down through the thread guides to the needle. Make sure your needle is fully inserted and turned the correct way.( If you load your bobbin case from the left side, the needle rule is normally FLAT to the RIGHT is RIGHT. There are some exceptions. If you have a newer style drop in bobbin or your bobbin case loads in the front then the rule is FLAT to the BACK.

Bobbin Thread won't come through

Thread the machine and the bobbin. Turn the handwheel towards you with your right hand and hold the the top thread in your left hand pulling slightly to the back of the machine. When the needle goes into the needle plate keep turning the handwheel untill the needle picks up the bottom thread and by pulling the top thread you shold be able to pull the botoom thread through the needle plate.

Practise makes perfect.
