Plug the usb cable of your webcam to your pc's usb slot, whe windows detects the new hardware insert the cd driver that came with your webcam. then install the additional applications on the cd. restart your pc if it requires you to do so. otherwise open the application of your webcam and try it out. have fun!

I lost my cd and dont know the name of the cam

Here is a web page where you can identify your web cam by sight.
once you know which model it is use the support page on the Logitech site to get the drivers for your cam.
