First let me say this is MY FAULT! I have a Logitech mouse, which I wanted to use with my new laptop. So I tried to install the software, and deleted the installed mouse/pointer. THEN I learned that the mouse would run with native VISTA drivers, but first you have to uninstall the Logitech drivers. I can't uninstall because I can't point at anything.

I would suggest that you borrow a generic mouse from someone and plug it in the vista and then do that. Another option is to boot your computer in safe mode and then uninstall the drivers there as the mouse will work with generic drivers in safe mode.

M305 Logitech Wireless mouse with nano stopped working on Laptop


This is a difficult one to answer so lets go through it.
You have a M305 thatrefuses to work and your OS says is returning an error.
You've quite rightly checked the Logitech site and found out that it appears to be a common fault as many people are reporting the same issue.
Logitech have not resolved the issue.

All the above are valid reason for retun to the vendor for replacement/refund.

However you WANT to replace a M305 (a model with know issues) with ANOTHER M305 which will have the same issues as Logitech have not resolved the problem.

I will have to think long and hard before giving a definative reply.

Go to http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/428/4335&cl=us,en?softwareid=671&osid=13. Select the vista 64 bit version of setPoint. Download and install. Also, altering the mouse properties in the Vista control panel can let you adjust the mouse.

FIND TECHN SUPPORT OR THE DRIVERS SECTION AND FIND THE MOUSE DRIVERS AND DOWNLOAD NEW DRIVERS.

REMOVE ANY MOUSE DRIVERS, LOGITECH OLD ONE AND ANY MICROSOFT ALSO

Install a Logitech cordless mouse on my desktop computer


Go to the Logitech website. In the support/downloads are you will find the software & drivers you need to install to your computer. You can download the generic logitech wireless driver & then let the new software determine the model. Hope this helps & please remember to rate my answer. Thanks.

Logitech V220 Mouse stopped working


Hi,

First of all, make sure you test the new mouse in a different USB-port then the old one, this can sometimes force windows to "reinitialize" communications with the mouse.

If this does not work try something of the following:

If you have the Logitech SetPoint software installed:

1)Remove it. *
2)Install it again


If you don't have the Logitech SetPoint software installed:
1)Install it.

Usb mouse on laptop


go to start>>control panel>>add and remove porgrams.
uninstall all of the Logitech software related to the optical mouse.
restart the computer, plug in the mouse usb, the windows OS should automatically detected the mouse.
Windows OS has logitech mouse driver buldin. you don't need additiona; software.

Mouse not working


Normal 0 Try disconnecting the Mouse from the USB port and reinstall the CD software program. When the program asks you to connect the Mouse to the USB port, do so and it should work.

After installation my Logitech 3200 mx Keyboard and Optical Mouse are not working


first check whether the software you installed is completely installed......if there was any interruption while installing logitech software......then such errors will arise.....otherwise uninstall and then reinstall the software of logitech.....this may work for you.....if the problem still persists......the problem may be in software cd......the software which has been copied on the cd...... may not be properly copied....for that i suggest you to search that software in the internet.....you will definetly get that in the internet.....if you have any problems.....tell me....i will do it.....but i want the model no of the software.....try this....it will work 100%.....i am software engineer....and i have experience in it.....thats why i am suggesting you this idea....
