Donnabrunett, I just got off the phone with Simac service center at 1-800-223-1898 and they do not have that manual in an electronic format. They told me the only way to get it is to buy it and ...they want $10.50 for the manual and then and additional $4.95 for shipping. So that?s $15.45 for your manual....If you decide to buy it all you have to do is call the above phone number....Not to friendly by the way....good luck and I hope this helps you...let me know cbinny1

    The phone number worked for me I talked to 2 different people and thats how I got the information on how much the manual costs (including the shipping)... due to the fact that they do not offer it for free on their web site.....1-800-223-1898.....give it another try and good luck

It would seem that manual(s) for this particular brand/model is not readily available online. Best at the moment is a pointo; pls try cal (800)223-1898 and/or (212) 935-9343.

"tip it on the right
I absolutely agree! I had the same problem with this answer -- the question of which "right" side to tip it onto.

Answer: You tip the machine over onto YOUR right side when you are viewing it from the front (with the bowl and bowl lever release closest to you).

I found this out after some internet sleuthing when I found another manual for a similar machine as the Simac Il Gelataio Magnum Plus (which is what I have), and it also says to "tip it on its right side", but I believe it had an illustration or something definitive like that which made me feel certain as to which "right side" it should be. Of course, different models COULD be different, but I figured if Simac/Lello is writing "on its right side" in all different manuals, they probably mean the same thing across the board. Anyway, it convinced me enough to try it on my own Simac and it worked, so my conclusion must be correct!

Simac gelataio magnum plus machine does not get cold or freeze. Motor works.
If the outer tub does not chill down, then the refrigeration is gone. CHECK that the airflow from the vents is active and free of obstruction.

If the tub starts to chill but the product tub doesn't get cold enough, you may have forgotten to put the Gin or suitable alcohol transfer medium in the outer tub.

Need repair manual for IL Gelataio 1600 ice cream
Best I can recommend is to go to www.delonghi-accessories.com. It's the site of a US distributor for Delonghi, which is the parent company of Simac, and it lists numbers for support.
You could try www.simac-vetrella.com if you speak Italian; or www.simac.com.au (I think this is a retailers site) might have parts, also.
