Question about Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate Edition
I recently U/G from XP to Vista, on my ECS 845GV-M3, 2.4Gh Intel CPU, GEFORCE 7600GT 256Mb GPU, 2G RAM, Terrabyte of HD(spread over 3 IDE & 1 USB drives) Audigy sound card. It runs well for software and net etc, but its dying on video. CPU seems to stay at 100% most of the time (if it is idling on desktop just a few swishes of the mouse will max it out) is there any adjustments (besides obvious graphical changes) to let the CPU rest? Would upgrading to a 3Gh make much difference?
Check in Task Manager what Process that eat-up your CPU power and if you're not using the program, just uninstall it or disable it from startup
