Delete the data/files which is stored in your phone not in mass memory(Message, images, contacts, music.....etc...you can see when you check these files without inserting the mmc).If not help format by selecting "Restore All" or type *#7370#.Thanks for visiting fixya

or you can hard format your phone by following these steps. Remove your memory card, Turn off ur mobile, then press green key(answer key), 3, *(star) at same time and then turn it on, keep presing the buttons till format is complete. all your data in phone memory will be removed.

I have a problem.ican't receive any messages because it says 95% memory full but i have deleted all messages and it still shows the same thing.if i do a master reset will this delete the phone's software...

Hi, if you reset the phone it will only delete data stored.
I think that the memory full might be that because messages stored are stored in two different places, cell phone memory and external SD memory card. you will need to check those out first and see what has not been deleted.

Also Sometimes your data on the phone can also cause the 'message full' . You might not need to reset the phone, just try and delete some data from a away from the phone, i think that might safe you from resetting the phone.

Hope that helps..

Text messages does not take up a lot of memory. You need to delete items that is larger for example photo's, video's etc.

My N97 is showing c: phone memory full. please delete some data from phone memory

That message simply tells you that your phone memory is full and needs to delete some data in order for the phone to receive an incoming like messages or any multimedia files. Delete some unnecessary files on your phone to free up some space for other important files. Go to your phone gallery and then delete some files located in your phone memory and then restart your phone.

Memory full, delete some data

Step1 Perform a soft format of your phone by dialing *#7370# just as you would any other phone number. This will erase the contents of the phone's internal drive. Step2 Use a hard format only if absolutely necessary; this sequence will reset your phone back to its original factory settings. Step3 Turn your phone off. Step4 Hold down the green answer, * and 3 buttons. Step5 Switch the phone on without releasing the buttons. Step6 Release the buttons when "aFormattinga" appears on the screen.
