Why can i not follow a link to my answer ? i click the link and therte is nothing pertaining to my answer / problem

6. Enter the incoming POP3/IMAP information pertaining to your particular email service and press "OK" to continue. Select the "Outgoing Server (SMTP" menu item) and enter in the appropriate SMTP address for your email provider and press "OK" to continue. 7. Hit the "Select" and wait for the "You have configured this email account successfully" dialog to appear.

1. Go to http://mail.yahoo.com

2. Enter your user ID (whatever it is) followed by @yahoo.com

3. Then click on the following link in blue: I can't access my account.

4. This will redirect you to a page where you select the issue you're having and click next.

5. Then you go to the next page, follow the instructions and click next.

6. It will ask you to verify your identity by answering the 1st of 2 security questions. Click next after you have answered each question.

7. Once you have answered each question correctly, it will bring you to a password reset screenwhere you can reset your password.

This is a known problem with certain HP and Compaq laptops. Check out the link below to see if you qualify for the free service enhancement program. The same thing happened to me and HP is sending me a postage paid box to mail my laptop to them and they are going to fix it and mail it back.
