SOURCE: where do i add freon on a frigidare frs6lr5eb3. it

Hello, welcome to Fixya. Unfortunately one cannot simply "add freon" to your domestic fridge. Domestic fridges have what is known as a "sealed system" therefore it cannot be charged without opening up the system and rarely needs to be for that reason, hence being labeled "sealed system". If you truley believe it is a leak in the system and needs repair you would need to call in a licensed appliance repair-person to work on a sealed system, most states and provinces it is illegal to work on without a cfc recovery ticket. Thank you for visiting "fixya". Let me know if we can assist you any further. Good luck. macmarkus :)

SOURCE: beverage air dd58 kegerator won't stay cold

the freon system is a sealed system. If you are adding freon, there is a leak. have the leak repaired and this should resolve the issue. Freon should not need filling but one time and only after the leak is located and repaired.

The Water is frozen at the back of freezer - model E402B - is there a evaperation pan under the fridge?

Coil freezing is often a symptom of low freon. You might have a pin hole leak, and it's not a DIY job.

Most all refrigerators have a condensation pan, if not you would have noticed a small river, or a rotting floor.

I have a fedders ac unit that does not put out cold air only for a couple of minutes. model # A2Q06F2BG-D can i add freon

Hello, you can add freon by installing a piercing valve on the low side of the system. Before adding freon I would check and make sure the air filter and both coils are clean. If everything is clean then most likey the unit has a leak and is low on freon.

Model # HTS22GBMBRWW. Appx. 7 years old. Running but the freezer is blowing cool air and does not freeze.

Do you have frost build up on the back wall of the freezer ? If you have a even build up of frost on the back wall in the freezer section then you have a defrost problem.

If you don't have frost build up, and your fan is running as you described. then I would say you have a freon leak. This leak could be anywhere in the seal system, but most comonly will be in the evaperator.

the evaperator on this machine is a litter more dificult to replace and will cost more to have installed than others, The evaperator and the other parts required to install the evaperator will cost about $250 to $350 + Tax and Labor. If the evaperator is bad, I would buy a new machine.

Evaperator coil is freezing up

let it thaw then turn it on if the larger of the 2 interconnecting copper tubes(the insulated one) is very cold then you have a dirty coil or filter. If its not cold then your low on freon.

Beverage air dd58 kegerator won't stay cold

The unit is probably low on gas again. If it lasts a month the leak may be difficult to find, as it may be a small leak. Those units don't hold a lot of gas. Have someone do a nitrogen leak check and fix the leak. If no leak is found, have them install a UV dye to help find the leak. :)
