SOURCE: gas keeps shuting down and not heating the air

First thing to check is the ignitor underneath the drum. (You have to open the panel to see it)  It should glow shortly after the dryer starts, then the flame starts and the ignitor shuts off.  If the ignitor does not glow then it or the thermostat is bad.  If the ignitor is glowing but the gas does not light then the gas valve coils may have to be replaced.   If the gas ignites but does not stay on either the flame sensor or the coils are at fault.  If the gas ignites but the cycle stops and repeats quickly the lint filter, exhaust vent or outlet may be clogged.

Where is the heating element on a maytag front load washer?

I suggest doing a search on bing or google for your model. Many appliance parts retailers have nice exploded diagrams of each model.

The dryer does'nt heat Model # MDE7057AYW

You most likely have either a broken heating element or a popped safety switch.

Both can be found on either Applianceparts.com or Ebay after you go the Maytag website and spec out your parts.

I have an Maytag model # MAEDZ600TW2 Epic Z Electric dryer , the drum turns but no heat , circut breakers were checked , lint screen is clean , btw , date of purchase was 3/23/09

There are 2 common reasons your dryer will not heat.
1. Your limit switch is out on the dryer not allowing the heating element to switch on.
2. Your heating element is out.

before you try to fix this yourself it should be covered by warranty.
