Question about Canon ImageCLASS D1120 All-In-One Laser Printer
The toner cartridge is acting like it's running out, but there is no error message saying that it's low. It will make one or two legible copies before producing an almost blank piece of paper. When I replaced the toner with a new cartridge, it kept giving me an error message saying to "set toner cartridge again" so I eventually put the old one back in. This all started when someone didn't know how to clear a paper jam and tried to continue making copies despite the jam. What should I do?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

The problem is with the paper tray not the toner, believe it or not. Take all of the paper out of the tray and then reinsert the paper into the tray. It should then work fine.

This kind of error indicates that your toner is not properly set or there is some paper jam. so please follow the instruction and open the panel and remove the toner and check for any kind of paper piece and than refit toner properly and close the panel and than check you will definatly able to resolve the problem ok

I had this problems and did everything suggested on here. Installed firmware update (which just changed the error message - didn't get rid of it), removed paper, changed size, replaced paper, tried new cartridge. Nothing worked. Finally found a tiny piece of paper that must have been blocking the sensor. It was on the left side near where the power cable is. It was less than an inch square. Got it out with some tweezers and problem solved.

You can specify the method for restarting scanning of documents when a paper jam occurs in the feeder.
For information on the optional products required to use this function, see "Optional Products Required for Each Function."
Details of each item are shown below.
[From 1st Page]: If a paper jam occurs in the feeder, scanning starts again from the first page of the document. [From Stopped Original]: If a paper jam occurs in the feeder, scanning starts again from the page of the document scanning was interrupted.
