    Hi,
Many thanks for trying to help me with this problem, however it is the plastic part that the new bag slots into that needs replacing. I have a new one but can't get the old plastic bit out even after removing 3 screws that are visible.

I have found the answer myself. Once you remove the front panel you can remove the grey plastic bag holder by using a flat head screwdriver and prizing the plastic yellow clips to release it. They look as if they will break which is what I was worried about. When you have done that it slides off and a new one can replace it. Thanks for all your help :-)

Are the brushes worn down too far? As they wear the springs tension gets weaker. The brushes can also get stuck inside the channel they slide in. Could also be a buildup of dust etc inside and around the internal fan or commutator, etc.

How do I replace the Hoover Upper cord Wrap?

Do you mean the holder? Contact Hoover with your make and model and see if they can send you a replacement. But I doubt it. Try glueing it back on if you still have it. Use a good epoxy glue.

Since I replaced the bag in my Eureka Rally 2 (this was the first time) the suction has not been working well. Could you please tell me what I could have done incorrectly. Thankyou

The dust bag holder is an important part of this vacuum. Make sure the bag is installed into the holder sliding bag collar into slots to secure.
Make sure the bag is tucked into cleaner. or the bag cover will not latch securely.
Also, the motor and exhaust filters should be cleaned at each bag replacement.
REPLACING THE FILTERS
Filters should be cleaned or replaced when they become visibly soiled or suction power is reduced. Always operate the cleaner with the filters installed to avoid motor damage. The dust bag must be changed and the filters cleaned or replaced if the window of the Clean Filter Indicator changes into red when the cleaner is operating at maximum power and the nozzle is raised from the floor.

Hoover telios Bag holder, fitting

HI The bag holder slips into place by opening the lid and aligning the bottom sections into the slider L shape part just at the mouth of the actual dust bin. Slide the part so that it sits at an angle before the bag slips into it. Once that's done make sure the bag is pushed down otherwise the lid will not close.

No suction with my Hoover Breathe Easy Upright

If the bag fills up with air it should be sucking since the air that fills the bag is blowing air into the bag thus the dust gets carried along with it. However it should be easy to inspect the hose by taking it off by either removing screws *dont lose them, by the way! And looking at the dust channel after the beater bar. Either way something is clogged if the dust bag is filling up with air. Also check that the filter underneath the bag or beside the motor is completely clean.
