Question about RCA P52937 52" Rear Projection Television
I BOUGHT THIS USED FROM MY FRIEND. I SHOULD HAVE CHECKED IT BEFORE I BOUGHT IT. THE TV TURNS ON BUT THE SCREEN IS VERY HARD TO SEE,IT IS VERY DIM. I ALSO HAVE NO CLUE ON HOW TO PROGRAM THE REMOTE. I CHANGED THE BATTERIES BUT IT DIDN'T WORK. CAN YOU HELP A BROTHER OUT.

sounds like the blue CRT is contaminated open the back turn on the tv look into the blue gun if it looks snotty the coolent needs to be replaced

i had that same problem. i searched Google and found that on most remotes you need to put a 0 in front because it needs an extra #

Okay, when you purchased the remote, it should have had a list of TV brands listed. What you do is find the brand of television that you, which you have listed as a Daewoo, look at the description listed on that paper. It may have a few codes. Follow the instructions for the NEW remote. It will tell you to press a certain button, watch it flash 2 times and then enter the Daewoo code. It should program after that. If you have the OLD remote, you can "learn" the buttons from it to your new one by pointing the remotes towards each other. You will have to press "VCR" and then press, FFWD, REW, PLAY, PAU, etc., pointing the remotes at each other each time you press the button on the old. Sounds confusing but you will see it is very easy.
