You will need to get a 3.5mm Stereo to RCA cable and plug thei 3.5mm end into your iPod and the two RCA connectors into an Auxiliary Input on the rear of your receiver. If the receiver has a phono input, DO NOT use it, it will overdrive your system

Struggling to get my tuner working on the AVR-3803 - not sure what is wrong. just not getting any sound from the speakers. everything else works

Perhaps you aren't tuning any stations. That would be a good first step toward audio. Install an antenna, too. "Tuned" and "stereo" are indicators there is a listenable station tuned in.

IPOD hook up to receiver

The problem is the phono hookup, which is not a standard line-level input. Phono is only appropriate for a turntable (record player)

Plug the ipod into any other input, and you'll be all set.

If this helps, be sure to hit the "thumbs up" for me!

Can't record out from a digital input

It only passes the signal it see's. Digital for Digital and Analog for Analog. Try running a Standard analog RCA from your Cable box to the receiver then try and record. Hope this helps. If you still have an issue, post a comment and I can help you further.

System: DENON AVR 3803 The TV is connected to the receiver, so both the audio and video components are fed through the receiver, I think. The image on the TV was present, but the TV/VCR button was pushed...

THERE ARE ONLY TWO WAYS THE TV SHOULD BE CONNECTED TO THE DENON,
1. MONITOR OUT OF THE DENON TO AN INPUT ON THE TV.
2. AUDIO OUT FROM THE TV TO AN INPUT ON THE DENON.
ALL YOU DEVICES CAN BE CONNECTED TO THE DENON IF #1 CONNECTION IS USED OR ALL DEVICES CONNECTED TO THE TV IF #2 IS USED
