a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: wireless won't connect.
First and foremost check that you have WiFi switched on, it sounds so simple but you'd be surprised how often this is the problem. The WiFi switch is on the left-hand side as you look at the screen and needs to be in the up position to be on. A quick note about WiFi security; WEP is useless, even 128bit, freely available 'stumbling' software can crack a WEP encrypted network in as little as 20 seconds (depending on network activity). You need to use WPA or if you're OS supports it WPA2. Hiding you're SSID makes no difference as you're router still transmits and is therefor still visible, it just doesn't respond to access point requests. MAC address filtering is useless because once your network has been found all MAC addresses are visible. These days 'stumbling' software even automates the task of masking one MAC address over another. Although using as many layers of security as possible can help to keep nosy neighbours out WPA (and preferably WPA2) really is the only thing that will slow losers with nothing better to do down long enough for them to get bored.

SOURCE: netopia 2247NWG for smarttelecom
Sorry if my writing is not clear I dont have best english.
If you move your router from eircom to smartelecom you have to change security protocol from "chap" eircom to "pap" smarttelecom.
Now Do this few steps.
Go to start menu on windows find and click run.
type: cmd and press ok
When you will see black screen that will be command prompt.
Now you have to type your defaul ip adress. To check your defaul ip adress type ipconfig in command prompt and press enter.
Default Gateway is your default ip adress. Now when you know your ip type in command prompt:
telnet yourip 23 and press enter, for example:
telnet 192.168.1.254 23
If you didnt setup any password to login to the router you will be loged automaticly and you will see "Netopia-2000/18861188>
But if you have setuped login and password to your router you have to first type your login and press enter, then password and press enter to have acces.
next is easy type:
configure and press enter
ppp and press enter
set and press enter
now you have to pressing enter about till you will see line:
option <chap-only> [ off : on : pap-only : chap-only ]:
on this line type pap-only and press enter
now start pressing enter till you see:
then type save and press enter.
When you see line:
Configuration data saved you can close command prompt window.
From this moment your router will be work with smarttelecom.

SOURCE: xbox live via cricket wireless
I can connect to XBox Live through this fashion on my Cricket Modem:
Now, I have had problems with this fix running Windows 7 (still can't get it to work), but I didn't have any struggles with XP or Vista.
You need to go into Manage Network Connections, right click on your Cricket Modem, and select Properties.
Click the Share Tab, and click it so it allows other users to connect through that network connection. Now, go to the Networking tab under Properties and right click on the Internet Protocol Version 6 and make sure it is automatically assigning both DNS and the 6 IP, Apply.
Next do the same with the TCP/IPV4 section under Networking, make sure everthing is automaticaly assigning.
Click on the Router and make sure that it is automatically assigning the Internet Protocol 4 and 6. Now click diagnos, and it should reset the router, automatically apply the correct settings, and bam. You SHOULD be able to connect with XBox Live.
I have no problems with this with Vista and XP, as I stated before. But now my main computer is running the 7 RC and I can't figure the darn thing out yet. So I figured out a cute solution. I took my Dell Mini, connected the Cricket Modem to it, and ran an ethernet cord from the XBox to the Mini.
Pretty much same solution after that, only instead of selecting your router, you select the LAN connection that is not your Cricket. For me itassigns the XBox as LAN and the Cricket as LAN2.
Let's see how it goes. :)
