It goes to a Verizon directory. That is not the main extension so how would I program it to go back to line 3 as the main extenson from the main line? Thank you.

  • morrisonlaw Feb 28, 2012

That phone does not have a program screen, only the main line has a program screen and there is no issue with that line 3.

The line appears to be assigned the phone as it appeasrs on ext. 10 correctly however not on the phone for ext. 11 which doesn't have a screen and still is not picking up on line three.

Plug in a display set from another location to verify that the lines correct.

Sounds like the line 3 button on that set is programmed as something else. When you press feature 00 and the line 3 button what does the programming say on the screen?

my apolgies, i thought you said it was an 18D set. I'm going to assume that its only line 3 thats missing and not a different line that was moved to that spot.

From extension 10 or 11 enter in feature 00
press the left intercom button twice. The screen will say system programming.
enter in #301 The screen will say line assignment extension:
enter in the extension number of the set thats missing the line
the line that are programmed to the set will show the red light next to their location.
enter in 03 the screen will either say 1 assigned or 2 not assigned if not assigned press 1 on the dialpad. the line should try to automatically assign the line to the first open button. if its not the right location pres 3 on the dialpad and then press the location where you want the line to appear.
    press feature 00 when finished.

Lucent Partner 18D - Caller ID not working

The caller id information is sent from your local telco provider after the first ring and might not be able to be extended to the individual sets, try backing off the ring to answer on your voice mail from 2 to 3 rings to see if the information is then passed on. The Voice Messaging System message is being sent from the system showing who transfered the call to you. You should also notice that the ring pattern when that message is displayed is a standard ring followed by a beep meaning a transfer is taking place.

Lucent Partner 34D phone system with 18D extensions

That doesn't sound good at all. I would first try powering down the system and waiting about 15 seconds or so before powering back up. If the problem remains, the processor was some how damagedand would be best if it was looked at by your vendor.

Incoming calls to office cause all phones to ring in classrooms

Changing ringing on a Partner system is done on either ext 10 or 11.
At one of those ext's press the feature key and "00"
Next press the left hand intercom twice
The display should say system programming

Press the right hand intercom once. The display should say Centralized Programming.

Enter in the extension number that you want to program.

Press the line that you want to ring.
A solid light on the line means immediate ringing
A slow flashing light means delayed ringing (meaning the phone will wait 3 rings before starting to ring.)
A fast flashing light means no ringing.

When finished with that station press the right hand intercom and enter in the next extension to program and set ringing accordingly.

Press feature "00" to logout
Hope that helps
