Cant connect internet, always try again

Hello katlenternal,
What you are having seems to a common issue with the Nokia C3. I had one and I had the same issue when I first got it. Unfortunately I had to keep trying several times before it connected. But when I finally got it to work, I use the same pattern when trying to connect. First off make sure you are trying to connect with wifi. At the home screen, click down and scroll through until you get WLAN and select it. Go to avaliable WLAN and find the network you want to connect to. Make sure the signal is strong. Once you click it, enter the password and it should say you are connected. Exit back out to the home screen. Go to menu and go to internet. Click on Home, and it usually it ask's search WLAN. So I go through the same process as mentioned earlier. Connect to your wifi network. Once connected try reloading again. Hopefully this should work. Unfortunately you will have to keep trying over and over if it does not work. It will work, you just got to be patient. Good luck.

Note: there are four stages in all, assumingly both bluetooth and wifi are installed.

First stage : press Fn+F11 = Enable WLAN only

  • Figure 2
To search for more WLAN connections, click Options, highlight Search for WLAN and click Select

  • Figure 3
To connect to a WLAN network, highlight its name and click Connect

  • Figure 4
If the wireless network is security-protected, you'll need to enter its hexadecimal WEP key to log on

  • Figure 5
You can also connect to a WLAN using the WLAN wizard. This can be found in the Tools are of the Main menu

  • Figure 6
When opened, the WLAN wizard displays a list of the available local wireless networks. Highlight one and click Options to log on

Failed to connect to the internet thr wi-fi

f Active Standby is activated on your Cell, your WLAN connection status is always visible from standby mode. The bottom line of the screen shows your WLAN status. If there are no wireless networks in the area, you'll see the message 'No WLAN network found'. If you're near a WLAN that you're not connected to, you'll see the message 'WLAN name found'.

To log on to this network, simply highlight the WLAN status line and press the centre selection key. You'll see three options:
  • Start Web browsing
  • Search for WLAN
  • Switch WLAN scan off

If the WLAN has detected then cell will open, unprotected network (and needs no passcode to access) then simply highlight Start Web browsing and press the centre selection key to go to your Bookmarks page and start browsing the web.

Hope this helps
