Question about HP Officejet 4315 All-in-One Printer

Cartridge error, caution this machine could work at any time

I have two refilled cartridges from cartridge world.  a tricolor #22 and  a black #27. I have had no problems with refills in the past.  My printer software and usb port drivers seem up to date.  My printer is hooked to a hub on the base of my monitor which is cinnected to my printer.  Please help me to rid myself of the dreaded CARTRIDGE ERROR!

This does not look like a chip issue (as i can tell from
http://www.inkfilling.com/inkjet-cartridge-hp-22.html )
Every now and then you will need a new cartridge you cannot
refill the same one forever it will go bad, perhaps this is the issue.

1. Remove all cartridges and turn off printer
2. Unplug printer and wait one minute
3. hold down # and 9 while plugging power cord back in.
4. Wait a few seconds, then press the power button.
5. Display should read "Full Null Reset"
6 Only install color cartridge. Close cover
7. Wait for machine to ask for black cartridge, then open cover and install black cartridge.
8. Close cover
9. Alignment page should be printed automatically.

Will 27 black and 28 tri-colour cartridge work on a D1560 hp deskjet


HP 21 black and HP 22 tricolor cartridges are the cartridges compatible with HP DESKJET D1560.HP 27 and 28 won't work with your printer because they won't get recognized by the machine.It will only give you an error message like incompatible cartridges.

hello, some of the time the color ink cartridge can cause the problem, especially if its a refilled ink, but at same time, i do know some of the new inks right out of the box will fail. so try with a new color cartridge first.

Did a black print cartridge refill at Costco. It


You used one of the worst refill services available. There's a reason they have a flat rate for refills, they use non cartridge specific inks, don't clean out the cartridge, and have a machine not a person do the thinking and the work for them. You will have similar failure on cartridges refilled by Walgreens, Office Max, and cheap online refills. I suggest Cartridge World first then Office Depot for refills. They have high quality standards and recycle your cartridges by refilling them.

If you mean the HP DeskJet F380 cartridges (the HP 21 and HP 22 cartridges) you will have unreliable success refilling these cartridges either yourself or online, at Costco, Office Max, and Walgreens. These refillers generally don't have fantastic quality control or knowledge of printer cartridges. I suggest Cartridge World or Office Depot refills. If you mean the HP Photosmart C8180 (the HP 02 cartridges) refilling them is easy but you need to replace the chip on the cartridge for it to work in your printer. As long as a refilled cartridge has a new chip it should work in your machine. Again I recommend Cartridge World or Office Depot refills.

Cartridge error: refer to device documentation to troubleshoot


remove the cartridges and clean the metal contacts with tissue paper and put it back. if the problem continues check the cartridges.

search for the specific cartridge you have and keywords such as "refill, reset expiration, contacts" for instructions on how to fool the printer into thinking the cartridge isnt expired yet. This works for most HPs:  http://www.refill4.com/refillinstructons/cartridges/hp-56-27-21-57-28-22.htm

HP Deskjet 4280 does not print. 'E' error on Control panel button


I had the same problem. It was solved once I bought an original color cartridge. Refilled cartridge seems not to work on this printer. Glad if it might help.

Try pushing it gently using some pressure. I had the same problem and it got solved using a little push.
