I'm trying to program my sanyo fxya universal remote to my toshiba tv/vcr combo. what are the codes or how do I do a code search

If you haven't found the manual yet, you can download it from samsung.com's download center. Just enter your model number or search by product category.

Use the remote's "Code search" feature. It'll run through every code in it's database and when you see the player turn off, you store the code. If non of the codes work, then it's not compatible.

2. Press and hold the CODE SEARCH/SETUP button on the remote until the
INDICATOR LIGHT lights, then release.

The One For All 3 Device Universal Remote Control is preprogrammed at
the factory to operate an RCA TV, a Toshiba DVD player, and a Motorola
cable box.To control devices other than the default brands,perform the following

Turn on a desired device (e.g.,VCR or DVD player) and, if
applicable, insert media (e.g., cassette or disc).
NOTE: Please read steps 2 through 4 completely before proceeding.
Highlight or write down the codes and device you wish to program
before starting step 2.
2. On the remote control,press a device key once (i.e., DVD/VCR,

once.The device should turn off. If it does not, repeat
steps 2 through 5, trying each code for your brand until

NOTE: If the device does not have a POWER key, press PLAY.
