Question about Pioneer CDJ-200 CD Player
I've got a Pioneer CDJ-200 CD player and I'm after a footswitch for it, so I can basically press Play from a distance.
The way to do this seems to be to buy a $1600 Pioneer DJD 909 Mixer, which neatly links to the CDJ and allows a footswitch (costs extra) to be plugged into it.
My mixer works well, and I don't want to buy another one.
The alternative seems to be to do some soldering and connect something to the CDJ that I can plug a footswitch into. I wondered what you thought, and if you could give me advice. I don't want to invalidate the warranty, but buying a new CD player is cheaper than a new mixer.
