You blew up the DC-DC converter in the power supply. The whole PS is going to have to be rebuilt not to mention I am sure some output transistors are bad as well which caused the failure. I would say you are looking at $200 min charge. Those amps are nice and very well built.

What fuse and fuse breaker should i run with this amp? thanks

100 amp should do it. Put the fuse or breaker as close to the battery as possible. Beware of cheap round glass type fuse holders. If going with a fuse i recomment the ANL type. The ANL fuses are actually screwed to the fuse block and give a much tighter, more reliable connection.

Rockford fosgate p 300-1 amp will not turn on

plug your ground, battery, and remote wires only and see if it turns on when you turn your radio on, if not it must have blown. wiggle or move the connection block(where your wires are connected) and see if it tries to turn on. if so, your leads need to be re-soldered since they tend to go cold(they're not making good contact). But again, if that does not help, then your amp is gone.

Amp not working

It sounds like you either blew a fuse, or you cooked your amp. The fuse on the P200.2 amp is a 30A fuse, and it sits right next to the power, ground, and remote wire connections on the end. Pull the fuse out and see if it's blown. You should also check any other fuses that you have in the car before the amp.

Rockford fosgate punch 700s gets very hot

Disconnect the speaker wires from speaker terminals on the amp and turn the amp on (turn the head unit on). Set the volume to zero on the head unit.

Does the amp get hot?

If it does, either the bias is set to high or the amp has other problems. If it does not, you may have the speakers wired to the wrong ohm load.

Amp

There is no reset button. If you disconnect all of the speaker wires from the amplifier's speaker terminals and unplug the RCA cables, does the protect light still come on (I assume that you've already replaced the fuse)?

Rockford Fosgate Power T20001bd goes into protect upon power up.

In most of Rockford's amps, the low voltage detection is connected to the remote input. If the remote voltage is too low and they use the same circuit on this amp, it could trigger the protection circuit.

Disconnect the head unit's remote from the amp. Use a fuse holder with a 3 amp fuse to jump between the B+ connection and the remote terminal of the amp. If the amp powers up, the head unit's remote output may be defective. If it blows the fuse, the remote input or part of the power supply is damaged. Do not try it with an unfused jumper.

Rockford Fosgate 501bd question

that amp should work fine with those speakers, just make sure that they(speakers)are wired for 2 ohms.at 500-600watts coming from amp, you should be getting 250-300 watts per speaker, just dont crank your gain too high on the amp.
