1. try to do a manual update through the windows website to have windows detecting your hardware and the drivers you need that may be avaliable throught the ms update website.

2. try to get the drivers directly from averatec's website: http://www.trigem.com/us/support/drivers.asp
look for the model and sound driver you need

1. Check volume control.
2. Look at the device manager and make sure your sound device is listed without exclamation mark. Device manager is in ControlPanel->System->DeviceManger.

How can install the drivers for the wireless

You will need to download the drivers off the averatec 3200 website and then install them. I checked and its a .exe file which means it should be very simple. If you have no internet on the laptop you will need to download them to a flash drive or burn to cd via another computer.

USB ports stopped working

go to the Averatec support driver page and download new drivers for the USB. Sometimes these are listed as "chipset" drivers, which is a set drivers bundled into one.
below is a link to where you can download files

Hey

You posted the same question.. before.. I just gave you a couple of suggestions. .so here they are again:

1. do a manual windows update through ms update website.
2. try to look for the sound drivers for your system in averatec's website: http://www.trigem.com/us/support/drivers.asp

bonus: if you had the driver updated, rebooted the computer and that's how you ended up with no sound.. you can do a driver rollback by going into the sound device properties and in the driver tab do a rollback driver, hopefully that will get the previous driver back into your system.

Hey

You should restore your computer to a date when everything was working fine.

To do the same Click start>All Programs>Accessories>system Tools>System Restore

Select restore my computer to an earlier date> Click Next

Select a date when it was working fine and restore it.

Note: All software changes made after the selected date will be undone as well. For Ex. If you installed a new software or game,,,

I am sure this will work for you.

Please rate the solution.

All the best
Sammy

I need help

Check the device manager to see if it is still there. Problably with a yellow exclamation besides it. If so, reinstall the driver.
If not, go to the BIOS and check if it is enabled.

Laptop Averatec 3200 PC Notebook

Try having the problem devices turned on and plugged into the USB port(s) and then start or restart your PC.

This should cause Windows to recognize them and install drivers if available from its library.

It may also ask for an installation disk if it cannot identify the device.
