My camera has an issue. It was connected to the computer (charging I suppose). I pushed the power button to turn her on but when I pushed it the blue light on the button and the green on for about two secons and then it turns off. I let it on the computer and I also used the regular adapter on an AC plug for about an hour each. ALso I tried removing battery + memory card for an hour but still nothing that could help. If anybody has any ideas on what is going on I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

First check the batteries (are they fully charged, are they inserted correctly). Next connect the camera to an AC adapter (if available). Try to turn the camera back on. If it works, then try different batteries. If the camera is still not working, after checking the trouble shooting section in your camera manual, call the camera manufacturers support desk.
If the USB cable is not plugged into the camera, turn it off and take out the batteries. Push the power button a couple of times with the batteries out. Put the batteries back in and try to turn it on then.

make sure the batt is charging and working fine.check also the batt contacts.make sure its clean.insert batt to your camera.instead of pressing the power button, press the play button instead to power camera on. if unit turns on,might actually be an issue w/the camera unable to power on in camera mode.if it turns on initialize cam (p.75 of the manual).see if it works.if still wont turn on try using a diff batt (or if you have an optional ac adapter model#acls5k use it, attempt to power on cam to isolate issue w/power source).if batt or ac adaptor not available try to check batt with another cam if possible to test batt. if still unit doesnt turn on using a fully charged, diff batt, or using an ac adaptor, unit would reuire service. hope this info helps.thanks:)
I'm sorry that the camera is not turning ON. Please make sure that the battery is fully charged.
Please reset the camera by pressing the reset button located near the DC IN jack. if the issue still persists, please power reset the camera by removing the battery and press n hold the power button for 1 minute continuously. After that leave the button and insert the battery and check if it helps. If the issue still persists, your camera will require service.
I was able to get past this problem by removing and reinserting the battery. This caused, in effect, a hard reset of the camera, which let me power it up fresh and take pictures again. Of course, it's not exactly reassuring that the problem arose in the first place,
