Question about Panasonic DVD-RV45 DVD Player

1 Answer

No DISC message displayed

My RV40 dvd player rejects all CD's & DVD's, display NO DISC message. This has started happening very recently, the dvd player has had very limited use. The only media recognised is the cleaning disc, which is played thru till the end. I have cleaned the lens many times with the cleaning disc.

DVD Player stops reading disc Error message :

usually this happens when lens cannot read the the disc. Due to few reason 1 Your disk is scratched 2 Your DVD lens is covered with dust 3 You need to replace DVD lens
Try another few CD/DVD to rectify whether there is any problem with dvd you are trying to play
if this error occurs on all the dvd you played then the most likely proble is with your DVD lens either its coverd with dust use Disk cleaner if not you got to replace a new DVD lense as per model

Dvd/cd player model no dvd-cv52, displaying HO7. have unpluged from power, and cleaned disc.

HELLO

I have just recently posted a cure for this - but here we go again. Fault H07 is the fault code for the spindle/disc motor and to cure it do this!
With the lid of the player removed, locate the spindle and where the motor shaft goes into the motor itself, use a little light oil or WD40. Don't drench the area or you'll really have fun cleaning it up!

Let it soak in a while and try it again - you should now find it works.

I am now finding quite a few owners of Panasonic DVD players are starting to get this message on the display. The same happened to me!

I wish you luck! (:-)
