Question about Maytag PYE2300AY Electric Dryer
I have tried different sized loads on different settings of regular heat (auto and timed) and it seems to always take several cycles to completely dry a load. With past dryers I have never needed to dry a load so many times. The dryer is only four years old. What can I do?
First, check your exhaust, you have to make sure there is no buildup at all inside it. this is the most common problem to cause this. if lint gets backed up, there is a sensor that shuts down the heating element after only a few seconds. hope this helps

Tips for a great answer:
Jan 19, 2011 | Dryers
Kenmore 80 Series of dryers are consumer grade dryers for home use. As
with most home appliances, the Kenmore 80 series dryers will
occasionally not work as intended. If a problem occurs with your dryer,
however, you do not necessarily need it serviced by a technician. You
can attempt to troubleshoot and fix any problems with your dryer before
contacting a technician.
