This not the problem with the pen drive but with your USB port. Check and make sure you are connecting the pendrive to a USB 2.0v. if you connect to older USB port then your data transfer would get effected. If still you are connecting it to USB 2.0v only then try to un-install the ports in Device manager and restart the PC once done the windows will automatically install the USB ports again and this will solve the problem.
NOTE: IF YOU ARE USING USB KEYBOARD BE CAREFUL NOT TO UNINSTALL THE USB PORTS OR YOUR SYSTEM MAY NOT ACCEPT THE KEYBOARD SOMETIMES. DO AT YOUR OWN RISK.
what are you using as a router? is it just recently getting slower? If it is recent:
-check to make sure no one else is on your network
-call your internet company (some do have caps that they will put on you if it is used too much..the sly dogs)
-check your task manager to make sure there are no crazy apps in the background sucking your juice
-if you are torrenting then pause them while browsing... torrents will slow you down majorly
Yeah you can use any of the Ultra High speed SD cards usually around $25.00 on-line for a 2gig. High speed has a transfer rate of about 2MG/Sec The Ultra's are around 15MB/sec transfer rate so make sure that you get a high speed one and you'll be fine. The $6.00 ones are not what you need too slow for map displays.
THERE WILL BE A DATA TRANSFER RATE PROBLEM IN YOUR LAPTOP ONE OF THE USB PORT.TRY IT ON ANOTHER PORT .IF THAT DIDNT WORK I SUGGEST THE BEST THING TO DO IS TO CONSULT WITH A CERTIFIED TECHNICIAN IN YOUR AREA.IT MIGHT BE A HARDWaRE PROBLEM.IF U FIND THIS SOLUTION USEFUL PLZ RATE IT.
Hi Naveen, The transfer rate is at its optimum for one-fourth the total connection speed. Since your connectio is 256 hence you should be getting 60-65 average speed. Try using DAP (DOWNLOAD ACCELERATOR) which is available free from the following site... www.speedbit.com Hope this works out. Reply ASAP if it works. Thanx.
How do you connect to the 2wire 2700HG? Wireless or ethernet? In any case I suggest to access the mdc (management and diagnostic console) of your 2wire and check the DSL Diagnostics under the Troubleshooting Category. Check the attenuation rate of your 2wire there so you can see if external problems are affecting the 2wire. The 2wire is also a modem\router and eventough it rarely affects the speed of your connection, the 2wire Firewall might also affect the speed of your cx. Another thing to check are the electrical interference on your 2wire. EMI (Electro Magnetic Interference) do affect the 2wire router greatly. I mean it LITERALLY. A great Interference can cut your signal strength from full bars to 1 bar even tough your just 10 feet away from the router. You can also check the Broadband Status on the Network at a Glance Page to check if the speed are jumping in and out. And also try to contact your Internet Service Provider or the 2wire direct technical support (1-877-3478680) for further assistance. God Bless!
