SOURCE: I have a Maytag LAT2500AAE top load washer. The

check the balance ring on the tub just below the tub cover and tub cover gasket which can be done from the top of the machine by removing the top cover, while doing this pull and push tub from side to side and see if it moves easier in certain directions, if it does you may have a tub spring broken on the tub leading to an un balance condition cause the springs stabilize the tub like a shock absorber on an auto, if this is it then you need to access the lower unit area by removing the front cover of the unit there are screws at the toe kick panel to remove this panel

Can a lid switch on a maytag bravos quiet series 400 model MVWB800VU0 be bypassed for testing, lid switch passes continuity tests but machine won't finish a agitate cycle?

the switch can still be bad manually even though it shows good electronically. How ever if its bad you seldom get some agitation then goes off unless ur opening and closing it? once its bad u get nothing, hence ur problem may be elsewhere. but Im u pics on how to jumper it, I myself think ur problem is in the timer perhaps sticking? if u have no agitation then check the water pressure switch and the door switch

My Maytag performa series LAT2500AAE fills to the medium level no matter which setting I use. It does NOT overflow.

If your infinite water level switch has a reset, perform this before changing the water level setting prior to your next load, this is usually done by rotating the knob to the reset zone, then back to your desired water level setting. If your problem still exists, you will most likely need the water level switch replaced Part# 22001776. Pleazer Appliance...

I have Maytag LAT2500AAE. I took off the front cover and I see water leaking from the tub bearing during the rinse cycle. I think I need the Tub Bearing Repair Kit PS60151. Is this a difficult...

Tub bearing replacement on ANY Maytag can be difficult. Even for experienced technicians, it can take 1 to 2 hours as long as there are no surprises (corrosion, stubborn bolt etc). Also, all Maytag washers require specialized tools for removing certain components of the machine.
