I would browse
for information on the lamp. As far as I am aware the lamp has to be supplied through a dealer and registered.

Where is my lcd lamp located on my panasonic rear projector tv?

How to change lamp on PT52LCX15K
Turn TV off and wait for the red light to stop blinking, then unplug it from the wall. IMPORTANT: Wait for a least a hour after turning off your TVfor the lamp to cool off. It is veryhot On a Panasonic PT52LCX15K the lamp is located under thefront panel that covers the speakers.
  1. Remove the front panel. Just grab it on both side and pull gently.
  1. TO THE RIGHT OF THE LEFT SPEAKER you will see a round locking knob on the lamp cover. Turn the knob to the left and remove the cover.
  1. Inside you will see a case with a handle on it. Pull it out and you will see the lamp assembly
  1. Remove the two screws holding the lamp assemble and remove. Use the handle.
Putting it back in just do everything in reverse. You will have to reset the lamp meter yourself. To reset the lamp hour meter:
Hold down the volume button on the TV and at the same timepress and hold the PIP (picture in picture) button on the remote. Watch the screen and you will see when it is complete. It only takes a few seconds.

My Panasonic PT-61LCZ70 keeps shuting off

Most likely problem is bulb failure. Replacing the bulb is first step in any LCD rear Projection troubleshooting.

PT-61LCZ70 has a special "Super Dooper" long life lamp that costs a ton to replace. US users have 5 year warranty on the lamp assembly. Canada users can whistle for help from Panasonic Canada. There is no replacement bulb available, only expensive lamp assembly.

TV has to be completely taken apart to change the lamp. Panasonic service information is 12+ pages for lamp change instruction.

Check Panasonic Lamp Gallery for an image of this lamp assembly.

I have a lamp for my Panasonic PT-44LCX65 but I can't find my manual that tells me how to install it

To install the lamp remove the bottom silver panel just pull on the panel and it should come off. the look for a door on the left side with a thumb wheel on top and turn it to open the door, Then looking inside you will see the lamp assembly, there is a screw on the right side of the lamp assembly simply loosen it and pull on the handle just left of the screw and the lamp should come out. Reverse the proceedure and you should be good to go.

How do i replace the bulb? How do I find the air filters?

There is a small removable door on the lower right or left hand side. It should have a screw holding it in place. Remove the door and you will see the Lamp assembly. This generally has a screw keeping it in place. Remove that screw and pull the handle attached to the lamp assembly and it will pull out.Make sure you buy a Lamp assembly that is complete with housing and not just the Lamp. You may not be comfortable swapping the new lamp into the old housing. Do not touch the Lamp with your bare hands or fingers as the oil from your skin can cause the Lamp to burn out prematurely. Take a small vacuum tip and vacuum out any dust inside the Lamp compartment before yor replace the Lamp.

Changing blinker on 2007 Pontiac G6

It's a monster pain to get to them, but it's doable. Once you empty the trunk, you'll see 4 black knobs - approx 1.5 inches in diameter. You'll need to remove all of these (they just unscrew, but they are plastic, so be careful not to strip the threading) in order to access the rear light assembly.

They're in there snug, but once you find the appropriate sized socket (I wish I could recall well enough to tell you what size, b/c I remember that it WAS an odd size), you'll have to remove all 3 bolts and then push the whole assembly out from inside the trunk.

Once the assembly is out, you will see the rear of the sockets, which simply push and turn to get the lamps out of. As long as you have everything open, I suggest changing ALL of the lamps (brake, tail, and turn signal) on BOTH sides, since the lamp life for all of these is about the same and it's such a pain to get to them in the first place.

Panasonic tv model pt-50LC14 will not turn on

First, turn off the tv. Once the fan has stopped, unplug the tv. Remove the front cover from it latches (takes up most of the area below the screen). On the left is the lamp door. One screw holds the door. Remove lamp door. Looks like one screw holds the lamp assembly. Loosen screw and remove lamp. Lamp may be hot if the set was running before you began the lamp replacement.

If you have a new lamp assembly, reverse the process. If a new lamp without assembly, change lamps. CAREFUL. No fingerprints on the new lamp. The oil in the fingerprints will shorten the life of the new lamp.

Reset lamp hours in the menu when done.
