This indicates that the unit suffered internal hard drive failure. Unfortunately support is not available at this time as both the nextar website is down and their customer service phone number does not work as well. You will need to get a new GPS unit,

Need map updates

I received the following from the manufacturer's technical support center. Apparently the Nextar Q3 doesn't support a map upgrade. Whatever it came with is all that it will ever have.

Will not charge

There is a problem with one of 3 things here: The USB cable for charging, the AC adapter for charging, or MOST LIKELY the battery. The warranty should cover this. Call customer service and tell them your situation.

Battery doesnt stay charged like it used to ? approx three years old , works ok with charger plugged in

The battery has come to the end of its service life, you will need to replace the battery. Contact Nextar at for information.

The nextar MA 797 mp3 player says it is mac compatible but its not working (I run OSX 10 6 1)

I have the same problem and I bought 4 of them. One for each of my family members. I thought at first that it was because they needed to charge but after having all 4 charge they still do not work. Fix this or contact me so you can send me a prepaid shipping container and send me my money back.

I have a nextar gps car system from 2007 that needs to be updated...not sure what model # is, possibly x11-15302. how can i go about this?

My Nextar GPS doesn't hold a charge and I'm not sure how to update my nextar GPS

Your battery most likely has cell dammage, this prevents the battery from holding any acceptable charge. You can take the device to a batteries plus and they might be able to refresh the battery to hold an charge, if under a year, send back to the manufacturer. Since you did not provide a model number there are different ways to update the GPS, here is the company support site.

Map update

You can download Tele Atlas updates at their map store here- Since the Nextar is relatively new, there is not a link for that brand on Tele Atlas's site, but for best results try their US customer service. Numbers were a bit hard to find but here are their US numbers- They should be able to tell you which update will be compatible for you, and its as simple as sending your new maps to your SD card once you download
