I have a CST/berger Magna-Trak 202 magnetic locator that just stopped working.

Likely the on/off button is no longer at the right position to make contact with the tab. Take it apart, and you may need to glue a little piece of plastic to the button.

Berger transit won't focus

If you mean your cross hairs wont focus the most likely cause is the cover you are turning is slipping and not actually adjusting the lens. Depending on the model, there are usually a couple small screws that can be tightened to correct this.
If you mean what you're trying to look at (objective) wont focus, then likely the focus tube is no longer making contact with the focus pinion. Look in the objective of your transit, and you should see a tube inside the frame. Turn the focus knob slowly and see if it moves the tube closer and further away. If not the rack and pinion are no longer meshed up. If it does then you have a lens out of place. Disassembly is easy, but reassembly and realigning the lenses is tricky, i would not recommend. A repair shop should be able to take care of this, and make sure it's in proper calibration for not to high a cost.

On My CST berger 32X automatic level unable to hold vial bubble center as instrument is rotated 180 degrees - instructions say to use vial adjustment screws to correct this problem...this does not seem to...

take a topedo level and get the tripod base as level as possible. attach your level to the tripod. put all screws in the middle and level it. turn 180 degrees, level it. turn 180 and check. if withing the bubble, turn 90 degrees and level. turn 180 and so on and so forth. the adjustments should be slight from turn to turn. make sure the feet are secured firmly in the ground. If this does not level the automatic level, it needs sent in for calibration. I dont know the web address but I hope this helps

Cant git my cst 24x to level up or stay level on 2 points

try making the base as secure to the ground as you can and the wing nuts on the legs firm to eliminate this from the problem. make the base as level as you can with a topedo level and secure the level to the tripod. put all leveling screws in the middle. all adjustments should be minor. go through your leveling sequence and if it wont stay level, you will have to send it off to be recalibrated
