The tv Tuner signal board is the cause and it is dying. That the board, that take in the incomming broadcasting signal cable plug into it.U have some machanials skills, like taking things aparts and put it back together again?Yes.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish Tuner signal board for the replacement.
This one is VERY tricky. I wouldn't let anyone touch it unless they had a lot of experience taking apart phones and putting them back together. Basically, the LCD screen (all LCD screens) is stuck on your phone by a really strong adhesive sticker. I DO NOT recommend trying to pry it off because it will only break or crack a screen. What you have to do is unscrew those tiny little screws that connect the surrounding body of the phone to the LCD screen, then pop off the body of it. Then, CAREFULLY unstick the screen, replace it, and put it back together.
You can prise off the clear screen with a small thin flat-head screwdriver or the like, give it and clean and replace the clear screen again. If it loses its stickiness when you take it off, then dab a couple of drops of glue along the edge before replacing.
Yeah i bought the phone and 2 months later the screen went all funny. the phone shop said it was my fault and it would cost 80 euro to fix:o.....
I am going to buy a replacement screen on ebay and my dad is going to replace mine for me .... My friend had the same problem with a different make of a samsung and she bought a new screen and installed it and it works perfectly :)

I just replaced my screen today. I found an instruction booklet at the place i bought my screen from....http://www.blackberry8100parts.com/
the screen works but i cannot hear anyone that calls...so needless to say i will be taking it apart again to see if something was disconnected when putting the parts all back together....best of luck to you....Mjr
these units are so fragile that you are undertaking very skilled surgery. it maybe that somehting became unplugged or pressured on the putting back together. Now that you have done it once, I would suggest taking it apart again and just putting it back together, it maybe that it will work the second time! there is no reset button that I know of. let me know if this helps.
