My NAD T562 DVD Player has somehow changed the region - it used to play Australian/Asian Zone CD's (as I wish it too) but now it will only play UK/Europe Zone CD's Does anyone know how to change the region?

All DVDs do not play in the player. Get No Disc error. Some of them are recognised. How to change regional settings?

Greetings - The playing some discs problem could have to do with a dirty laser lens and you might want to invest in an inexpensive CD/DVD lens cleaning disc. Also could be that some of your discs are dirty or scratched.

Regarding regional settings, there's no way to try to help you without the make, model and ideally - revision - of the player. Some players have region workarounds and some don't.

Come back with that info and someone will try to help you with a regional fix.

Regards and thanks for using Fix Ya.

DVD Player D1816 shows Wrong Regional Disc message

Many DVD players are preset to one region and if you use a DVD destined for any other region, the player will refuse to play. Some players have the option to change this to universal mode. Check your player's manual if yours has this facility.

Yes. You can play VCD movies and and Audio CDs on most players.

Looking for the regional code for a Panasonic DMR-EZ47V DVD/VCR combo in Australia and a Panasonic DMR-ES30V DVD/VCR combo. Can you please tell me how you put the code in. Thanks

Region codes are preset in the DVD unit. DVDs are encoded with a region code and are only playable if the DVD player is programmed with the same code as the DVD itself. If you want to play Australian DVDs, you will want to use code 4. There are 9 codes. Check below to find out what region each code is for:

You usually may only change a region code 3 times before it becomes permanent. You need to enter the menu-setup options in your DVD player and you'll want to look for "region code".

My DVD playes only shows in black and white

Grab the manual and the remote, my guess here is you have accidentally changed regional setting, depending on where you live.

Some remote controls have a button, it's simply a matter of identifying the said button and pressing it again to change your regional setting back to it's original.
