My tiger zoombox projector just stop coming on dont know if bulb blowing stops the whole console from coming on but that is my problem and cant find manual. The battery pack light is coming on so I believe its getting power. Please help my kids are driving me mad .
I solved my problem, after much digging, i found out that there is power at the lamp switch but no power at the the bulb. There is a yellow and orange pair from main switch to the board and a red and orange pair to the board. The red/orange pair connector, had orange side all black. could have been a lose connection but as soon as I shorted the connector on the board, it all came on as normal. YES I ALSO THOUGHT IT WAS THE BULB. I have had this system for 2 years and we use it atleast 4 hours a day. The old bulb still perfect. Hope this helped.
All you need to do is get inside the Zoombox and put a new bulb. The bulbs only can handle a certain amount of time... Just like any other lightbulb has a time limit... Glad I could help... If you have any other problems with it let me know and I would be glad to help.

When you mentioned blank does it have light on. If not check the filter for cloggging as the heat build up on the lamp can trigger a stop. Use a good forced cooling to confirm.
If the picture is clear and there is no illumination issues the bulb must be good and the issue may be power based.
If the main power supply can be cooled off , does the fault apppear, if so check the soldering of the power supply.
unless all this is confirmed the problem of the suspected bulb can stay.
Wether it looks blown or not replace it and dont put oil from your fingers on the bulb. Also clean the cooling fans for the bulb and projector (which may mean taking the back off and taking apart projector). Dirt in the projector fans can cause a fault not allowing for the unit to turn on. All the cooling work ins conjunction with a good bulb.
There is a rubber grommet on the left top of the projection screen, insert the supplied Allen key and turn anticlockwise and adjust turn by turn till the screen rolls out with just 2 to 3" of the black border shows on the top
Also replace CP150 and CP120 then check for an open 1.25 amp fuse. It looks like a little tiny brown box behind the composite inputs about an inch inward. We always change those caps regardless of the problem. GO GET EM TIGER. Let me know?
try partstore.com, the lamp will come as an entire assembly. The whole case. just loosen the two screws and slide it out. You shouldn't have to do anything afterward, check your menu and see if there is a timer to reset, but aside from that nothing.
