If you have a B&S, when you put flywheel on the key you've time it. If a different model, come back brand and model.

If you are talking about the cam timing, there will be a dot on the crank gear, and a dot on the camshaft, just align the two dots, you can check the valve timing by the valves rocking at top dead centre non compression stroke.

Air compressor will not restart at cut in pressure. i have removed line from head and found no backpressure but motor will start every time. replaced switch with new unloader valve, still have same...

the start windings are probly burnt. does it hum when it his cut in. i had one the same. u bleed it down to nothing and it would start but slow. once its up to speed the motor switch snaps and u go to the other set of wires in the motor. it will work good till it cuts out. like u said no back pressure at the head. but wont anyway. well if u try to start it its not long and the short pipe to the check valve builds up if u start from empty the check valve can open and let the air out while it slowly speeds up if this sounds like ur problem then u need a new motor i had one i took apart and the start windings, the thinker shorter ones, were stuck together because the clear insulation melted together. i spit them apart using a screwdriver and gooped them up with that liquid black tape. put it together and nothing. found out i broke one. so i twisted it together good and put it all together again and pluged it in. it still works today. it was just a temp fix but i figure untill it stops working again im not going to replace it.

HOW DO I CHANGE THE REGULATOR FOR A REAR WINDOW ON 2000 VOLVO S80

Im not 100% sure about the rear but with the front windows i removed the panel then the foam piece. I then removed the torx screws holding the regulator from the motor itself there were three in the front windows not sure about the back. There were 4 rivits holding the regulator to the door which i had to drill out. Once i put the new regulator in i put new rivits in attatched the window to the regulator via the blue clips and put it all back together.

Don't even bother to repair the pull chain switch, get a new one at KMart, HomeDepot or similar store for less than $2.
Two times I've repaired one, it comes apart when I need it the most.

2005 impala instruction to remove heater core

oh, sucks for you!! i just replaced mine. it was a total pain in the ***. make sure you run the car up on some car ramps. this will help you quite a bit. because there will be times you'll be standing on your head, and in some horrible positions. it takes time and it takes patience. also make sure you have the correct heater core before you start. thanks to autozone, i drove around for about 3 days with the dash tore apart and the heating system bypassed because they gave me the wrong one. my recomendation is take your time. taking apart and putting together. 1/4 in drive metric set is handy to have. im no mechanic, however im also pretty handy and very mechanically inclined. i'd say with taking apart and putting together it probably took around 9 hours. but i was also by myself. lots of dash taking apart. and my car also has the center console, which didnt help my case. good luck!!!!!

I am installing a new belt but the pulley that mounts to the ground i found was not attached and i am not posotive of its correct spot i need a diagram

The idler pulley goes in front of motor shaft. There is two slits in sheet metal where it slides in. after pulley is on. put the belt around drum and pinch belt together. put belt under idler wheel then put end on motor shaft. You can push up on idler pulley to get around motor.Make sure grooved side of belt is wrapped around drum. Good Luck!!

Can any body help put cambelt back together

You need to rotate the cam until timing marks on the sprocket are in line with the head, then make sure crank shaft timing mark is lined up. Install the belt. Might have to loosen the timing belt tensioner. Put timing belt tensioner back on, rotate the crank shaft with a wrench first to make sure there's no interference. Next, check compression.

Putting a kenmore electric dryer back together

Your best bet since this will be hard to do without looking at it is to call a local repairman. There are too many things left to chance.
