SOURCE: Error Code

Try keeping the paper only in the bottom tray (there's a tray in the bottom) Try pulling any paper out of the top and just close that top tray. Open up the head so that u can see the ink cartridges and turn the printer on and off and maybe it will center itself again. If it's still not working (even if lights aren't red and print head wont align in the center) try manually moving the head back and forth like 18 times so you can lubricate that rail in the back that's holding it. After that, re-turn it off and on again.

SOURCE: does not print error b200

Helo, found on web. Good Luck :0)

The error code is standard for many of the late model MPxxx printers. The B200 error is "Printhead Temperature exceeded", What this means that while you were printing some document, either one or more of the printhead ink wells ran out of ink and the printing continued. Printhing without ink in the wells will OVERHEAT THE PRINTHEAD NOZZLES and can potentially burn the out. The printer has a built in temperature sensor to detect the ambient temperature and to monitor the temperature of the head. This data is always collected and monitored and saved in the EEprom data and the Service Test print data.

If the error will not go away once you have unplugged the priner for at least 5 minutes, then there is the possibility that you have already burnt out the head. Remove the printhead and use a 5x magnification glass to look VERY CLOSE at all of the nozzles to see if you can detect any possible burnt out nozzle.

It many come down to need a new printhead.

B200 wont go on line or connect took off cord and still wont work

Error B200 means that there's a problem concerning the Printhead in most cases... in a great 90% of the cases is not fixable but...
Please try the following to see if we can resolve your issue:
1. Open the cover of the printer.
2. Remove all ink tanks from the printer.
3. Lift up the gray locking lever on the side of the ink tank holder.
4. Gently remove the print head from the carriage unit.
5. Gently clean the printhead contacts with alcohol.
6. Place the print head back in and lock the lever down.
7. Place all of the ink tanks back in the printer.
8. Close the cover and turn the printer off.
9. Unplug the power from the printer. Leave the power unplugged for about 5-10 minutes.
10. Plug the power back in and turn the printer on.

What is error B200 when attempting to power up

http://www.printerdiary.com/2011/09/canon-error-b200-how-to-fix-it.html

Error B200 on Canon printers is a print head error. The print head is what the cartridges sit in inside of the printer. To attempt to resolve it, do the following:

(1) Open the printer and wait for the carriage to slide over
(2) Remove the ink cartridges from the print head.
(3) Use cotton swabs dipped in hot water to thoroughly clean the print head and each ink cartridge.
(4) Repeat this until there is no ink residue coming off on the cotton swab.
(5) Once finished, allow to dry and replace the cartridges
(6) Try to print something now

If that does not work then you have one of two possibilities:
(1) One of the ink cartridges is defective and causing the error
(2) If it's definitely not that, then the print head will need to be replaced.

I have a ip43oo and I get service error B200 What is it?

Your Pixma ip 4300 error B200 definition: Over-heated print head. It sounds like an: "ut-oh', but not a big deal. The reason the print head overheats? Ink needs to be replaced... Replace the ink cartridge that is low (you should have received that message at least once).

I would shut it down to prevent damage, until you can get the ink cartridge replaced.

What is error B200 on Canon MX850?

The B200 error is a Voltage High Error. I read that you should try using a different power outlet and see if that works and if that doesn't work try cleaning the print head:

  1. Open the printer and wait for the carriage to slide over. If for some reason it does not follow these instructions:
    • Unplug the printer
    • Manually slide the carriage over until you can get the ink cartridges out.
  2. Remove the ink cartridges from the print head.
  3. Use cotton swabs dipped in hot water or a mix of hot water and alcohol to thoroughly clean the print head.
  4. Repeat this until there is no ink residue coming off on the cotton swab
  5. Allow to dry and replace the cartridges
  6. Try to print something

If it doesn't fix it then the board inside of the printer is faulty and you will have to replace the printer
Thanks. -Sa_Les_Ski

Well every advice is the same except a little altered (use a warm cotton swab to clean inside machine and on print head channels) but then it says if possible replace print head but honestly this has become a primitive Machine for turning humans into corpses - buy a new one.
